Description

• A simple portlet with a lot of Bling!
• Allows you to create a gallery of changing photos or a slideshow
• Enables two types of portlets
• Bling Portlet - retrieves a single image per page load.
• Bling Slideshow Portlet - references all images in a folder and displays them in a slideshow

Setting up a Bling Portlet

• Add a folder to your site for storing Bling Portlet images, publish the folder, and/or exclude the folder from navigation
• Add images to your folder (To avoid stretching/shrinking, edit your images to fit the exact dimensions of the portlet)
• Add a Bling Portlet
• 
• Search for and select the folder in which you are storing images
• Indicate Scale (large, preview, mini, thumb, etc.)
• If you are using Linkable Images, check the box to Enable Links
• Indicate Change - How frequent you want a new image to appear, Random means at-random on-pageload

Setting up a Bling Portlet Slideshow

• Add titles and descriptions to your images (These will appear in the portlet along with each image)
• Add a Bling Portlet Slideshow
• 
• Search for and select the folder in which you are storing images
• Indicate Scale (large, preview, mini, thumb, etc.)
• If you are using Linkable Images, check the box to Enable Links
• Indicate Interval - Time in milliseconds elapsed between slides
• Indicate Ordering - Random or Sequential
• If you want the slideshow to continue infinitely, check the box to Repeat
