CSSManager hits 2000 downloads!
CSSManager, developed by WebLion programmer Rob Porter and Ian Anderson of the University of North Carolina, has been extremely popular with the Plone community.
CSSManager—developed by WebLion programmer Rob Porter and University of North Carolina University School of Medicine developer Ian Anderson—has taken off like a rocket with over 2000 downloads in a few short months.
Started during a Sprint after the Plone Symposium East 2008 event, the add-on product has helped new and experienced integrators make quick global changes to their Plone sites.
CSSManager gives a simple, through-the-web interface to let users change the colors, borders, site logo and other visual characteristics of their Plone site. It assumes no knowledge of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) or the ZMI (Zope Management Interface).
The product's success has helped in achieving a critical goal identified in the Plone Strategic Planning Summit: making development easier for new members of the community.
Congratulations Rob and Ian.
