How long will it take us to move to Plone?

It depends on a variety of things. Some of our partners have converted in just a few months. Others have taken more than a year.

Things that affect the amount of time needed include:
  • The size of your site
  • Whether you need to re-architect, re-design and re-write content at the same time as moving to a new platform
  • The skill and experience of your website staff (note: we provide considerable training to increase these)
  • The time your staff can dedicate to learning and implementation
  • How many users you need to train to provide content and the extent of training required
