FAQs

Questions that partners and prospective partners often ask of WebLion.

How long will it take us to move to Plone?

It depends on a variety of things. Some of our partners have converted in just a few months. Others have taken more than a year.

Can we substantially redesign the look and feel of our Web site at the same time as moving to Plone?

Yes, you can. But you need to work out whether it would be more sensible to redesign after moving to the Plone platform.

How much time will our IT personnel need to spend on this project?

It depends on the extent and type of their existing expertise. We provide regular training and coaching.

What skills do our personnel need?

As for any good website: the ability to turn a visual design into a web page using (X)HTML and CSS; (if you don't go with WebLion Hosting), system administration skills. A range of other skills are also helpful.
